Paul Willis Takes Helm of New Salvesen CFC Division 1 2009 Team

We are thrilled to announce that former Scottish Premiership footballer Paul Willis is taking over the New Salvesen CFC Division 1 2009 team, formerly known as Edinburgh City Reds.Under Paul’s guidance, the team impressively reached the Scottish Cup Quarter Finals in their first season together.

Paul brings a wealth of football experience to the team, boasting over 300 senior appearances. He made his professional debut at just 16 years old for Dunfermline Athletic and has since played for East Fife, Ayr United, Albion Rovers, Berwick Rangers, Peterhead, and Stirling Albion. His extensive background and passion for the game make him an invaluable asset to our club.

Paul is dedicated to fostering the development of his players, ensuring each one enjoys their football journey while gaining the skills and tools needed to play at the highest level possible. His commitment to giving every player the opportunity to grow and succeed is at the heart of his coaching philosophy.

In addition, we are excited to welcome Kevin Clark, who will be taking charge of the newly formed U20s team as part of our partnership with Linton Hotspur. Kevin has extensive coaching experience at various clubs, including Spartans, Edinburgh South, and Dalkeith, and was previously coaching the 2007 Blues team.
